Nixplay's bestseller: a classic-looking touchscreen frame, gift preloading, and still some of the best software around.

What it is

The Classic 10.1 looks like a regular photo frame at arm's length, with a black frame and a white mat around the 1280 x 800 touchscreen. It stands on a table or shelf in portrait or landscape orientation and rotates the picture automatically.

The Nixplay app is still better than most in the industry. Family & friends can send photos from the app or by email, you can manage the frame remotely, and if you give it as a present, you can preload photos and a welcome message before it ships.

The free plan includes 500 MB of photo storage; a paid Nixplay plan adds more.
